And she's already trying to get out of going... sigh. Said she had a terrible headache as soon as she got up and then spent the majority of the morning in tears and dragging her feet every. single. step. of the getting ready process. Ugh, this could make for a long school year if she keeps this up. The only homework she'll have for the next 2 weeks is to read 15 minutes each night and write it down on a reading log, so that will be nice. Her good friend Jordan is in the same class, but it seems like most other friends are in the other one. We missed the Open House so it feels strange that I have not yet met her teachers.
The boy is enjoying his time at home alone with mommy. Currently playing Sesame Street games on the "cut-a-puter". I'll have to drag him to the grocery store today as there's no way I can put it off another day, as much as I'd like to.
