Summer Recap (part 1)

Since I'm all gung-ho to work on this blog (and I'm avoiding all the school paperwork that needs to be dealt with today) I'm going to work on a summary of our summer activities.

June
At the beginning of June, Nolan successfully graduated from his first year of preschool, and managed to get through the entire year without speaking a single word in class.  He had two wonderful teachers, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Kathy, who could not have been more sweet and patient with him throughout the year.

At home, he amused himself while I cleaned the garage,

and made a birthday cake for me.

We went to the yellow slide (a.k.a. Chick-fil-A) one day.

Cousin Victoria turned 10 and celebrated at a very fun bounce house.

G-mom had a birthday day too.  Wait, someone's missing...

There he is.

And of course lots of help blowing out the candles.  Whose birthday is it again?

The short-lived silly band craze reached it's peak.

We spent an evening at the ballet, where we watched neighbors Natasha and Jasmine put on a beautiful performance.

Finally, Karly was out of school and then it was time for a week of VBS.  Karly was looking good and ready to go!

Nolan couldn't wait to get there either.
