Busy Friday

Marco went in to work early today so I took both kids into school.  Came home and was fairly productive straightening and cleaning around the house.  Back to N's school at 11:45 for the Halloween party and parade, then back home with him.  He was really good today and I was able to get some more cleaning, laundry, dinner prep. etc. done. Then it was time to pick up Karly.  From school we headed straight to Party City to get a costume for her (along with the other 100's of last minute shoppers).  Came home and had 5 minutes for her to put her costume on and grab a snack, then back out again to Nolan's trial gymnastics class, which he really enjoyed.  After that, quick drive-thru at McDonald's for nuggets for the kids and then on to the next activity - "trunk-or-treat" with Karly's friends Lizzie and Jordan.  Karly had so much fun running around being crazy with her friends (and getting lots of candy of course!).  Then it was finally time to head home, take baths, and get in bed!  Whew!
