Trying to catch up...

aghh,  more than a month has gone by since I posted!  We've been so busy it's hard to know where to start.  We "enjoyed" a strange October cold rain/almost snow storm this weekend.  Karly and Marco went camping with her girl scout troop in the middle of it!  She had a lot of fun, but of course got very little sleep.  Everyone came home early in the morning due to the cold rain.  I was thrilled that I actually got her to take a nap when they got home!  I'm pretty sure the last time she slept during the day was 2005.  She slept soundly for over 3 hours when I finally had to wake her up.  Nolan went to parent survival night at the Little Gym (using up the last of my bonus points) while they were camping so I had a really peaceful evening.  Just enjoyed the quiet and did a little baking and cleaning.

Our fall activities/schedule are:
Nolan goes to pre-k Tuesday through Friday mornings.
Monday - K has a half day.  Every other Monday she has Girl Scouts.  We're in a carpool so I don't have to drive every time which is nice.
Tuesday - free day!
Wednesday - K has soccer practice 5-6:30.
Thusday - K has piano lesson at 4:30
Friday - K has soccer practice 5-6:30.
Saturday - N has soccer at 10 am.
Sunday - K has a soccer game.

The evenings are busy with homework, dinner, baths, and playing outside with neighborhood friends.  Nolan and Bailey have really connected lately and they have so much fun riding bikes and playing together on the swings in the backyard.

Nolan had his 5 year old checkup last week.  He did great.  He wouldn't cooperate with the vision/hearing screening when I was in the room.  Just gave the nurse the blank stare and wouldn't raise his hand or talk.  I thought he might do better without me, so I told him I had to go out of the room for a minute and sure enough he did just fine when I wasn't there.  Apparently he is doing this at school as well - completely talkative and outgoing when I'm not there, but when I'm around he clams up and puts on the shy act.  We discussed his cough that has started back up the past few weeks.  His lungs sounded clear, but she said we could try adding Singulair, or possibly increasing Pulmicort to 2x/day.  It usually feels like an accomplishment to get him to do 1 breathing treatment per day, so I'm not sure that's gonna fly.  His current stats are:

height - 42.5 inches (35th %)
weight - 40.5 lbs (50th %)

Hopefully will get some pics posted soon of some of the fun stuff we've done the past month.
